This Heart Shaped Brownies recipe is a must for chocolate lovers on Valentine's Day — or really any day you're craving a decadent treat. Kodiak® Chocolate Fudge Brownies not only gives every bite a deliciously rich, fudgy taste but also a boost of protein and whole grains. All you need is 45 minutes from start to finish to satisfy all of your cocoa cravings.

Ingredients

You will need: 

  • One 3-1/2 inch heart cookie cutter

 

Brownies:

  • 1 box Kodiak Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 eggs
  • caramel sauce for topping
  • mini chocolate chips for topping

Directions

  1. Make brownies according to package, but pour into a greased 9x13" pan.
  2. Bake for 22-24 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Allow to cool completely. Use a cookie cutter to cut brownies into heart shapes. Carefully remove from pan and set on parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, if desired.
