'Tis the season for giving, and these holiday chocolate chip cookies in a jar are just the gift you've been looking for. Or, if you're looking to bake a batch yourself, just combine the cookie jar mix with butter, eggs, and vanilla and scoop into cookie dough balls for baking. This delicious holiday treat is ready to eat in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients

In the jar:

  • 1-1/4 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup oats

Directions

  1. Place the ingredients in a large, 24 oz. jar (Kodiak mix, chocolate chips, brown sugar, holiday sprinkles, and oats). Press each down with a spoon before adding the next ingredient
  2. Cover the jar and decorate with cloth and ribbon

What's in the jar:

  • 1-1/4 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Mix
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup oats

Ingredients you will need to bake:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions for baking:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Empty the jar contents into a large bowl
  3. Use an electric mixer to mix in the softened butter, eggs, and vanilla until combined
  4. Scoop cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden around the edges
