Grandma better watch out because there's a new Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe in town. Featuring our whole-grain, rolled oats, these classic cookies are chewy, yummy, and best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Mix things up by adding chopped walnuts, raisins, or swapping out milk chocolate chips for dark chocolate chips. Grab a glass of milk and enjoy.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour***
- 1 cup Protein Oats
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter and brown sugar together until smooth
- Mix in egg and vanilla
- Stir flour, oats, baking soda, and salt together
- Blend the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden
