Delicious, but dry

These brownies were SO delicious and tasted just like real brownies with the benefit of being better for you in general! The only difference were these brownies were a bit on the dry side - which just made them perfect with a cup of coffee or tea!

Make a nourishing treat! Doing justice to the delicious whole grain flour in Kodiak’s Fudge Brownie mix, I like to mix in extra light olive oil and melted butter in equal amounts, a generous quantity of walnuts, fresh organic eggs, and high quality semisweet chocolate morsels. Real chocolate is a food, after all, deserving of the extra protein in heart-healthy walnuts and olive oil—that’s also part of the acclaimed Mediterranean diet. And here’s a bonus: so prepared, I find my Kodiak fudge brownie is as good a perk-up as an afternoon latte! I keep my brownies in the refrigerator to preserve nutrients, and enjoy them as an integral part of a nutritious meal.
