Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Our peanut butter blossom cookies give an old school bake-sale favorite a seasonal spin. Sure, these cookies may begin with one of the easiest recipes out there, but with some colorful sprinkles and a peppermint Hershey kiss on top, they’re anything but boring. Ready in just 25 minutes, this is one recipe we love to get the kids involved with. Have them help you gather all the ingredients, mix them up, and form little balls while you handle the oven. As they bake, put them to work unwrapping the Hershey Kisses…just don’t let them eat them all while they do!

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1-3/4 cup Kodiak Cakes Peanut Butter Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
  • 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F and line a baking pan with parchment paper
  2. Cream the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until fluffy
  3. Mix in eggs one at a time
  4. Add Kodiak Cakes Peanut Butter Powercakes Flapjacks and Waffle mix. Roll cookies into 1” balls and coat in Christmas sprinkles. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass cup.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges. Immediately place a Hershey’s chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie
