Ingredients

Chocolate:

  • 2/3 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons melted coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

 

Vanilla:

  • 3/4 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

 

Raspberry:

  • 3/4 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix
  • 2 teaspoon melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup mashed fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablepoon honey or maple syrup
  • *Optional: beet root powder for coloring

Directions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron to medium-high heat.
  2. In one bowl, combine Kodiak Buttermilk mix and cocoa powder, then add water, coconut oil, and honey. Add to a piping bag and set aside.
  3. In a second bowl, combine Kodiak Buttermilk mix with water, vanilla, and coconut oil. Add to a piping bag and set aside.
  4. In a third bowl, combine Kodiak Buttermilk mix with water, coconut oil, fresh mashed raspberries, honey, and optional beet root powder. Add to a piping bag and set aside.
  5. Prep your waffle iron with non-stick spray, and in the preheated iron, carefully pipe each flavor into 3 equal parts and shut the lid.
  6. Once cooked, repeat step 5 with remaining batter.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings like whipped cream and strawberries. Enjoy!
