Ingredients
- 5 Kodiak Buttermilk & Vanilla Power Waffles, thawed
- 5 slices smoked Gouda cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut each waffle into four pieces and place on the prepared baking sheet, evenly spaced.
- Cut each piece of Gouda into four triangular-shaped pieces.
- Top each waffle piece with a triangle of cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted over the tops of the waffles and waffles are toasted.
- Remove from the oven and transfer the bites to a serving platter.
- Drizzle the bites with the honey, sprinkle evenly with the thyme and red pepper flakes, and serve!
