Homemade Granola

Homemade granola makes a delicious and easy trailside, camping, or road trip snack—and this recipe makes it tough to stop at just one serving. Top it over yogurt, your fav Kodiak® Oatmeal, or eat it by the’s just that good.

Each serving has fiber, whole grains, and protein to keep you present in your adventures, and the natural sweetness of maple, coconut, and cinnamon guarantees lip-smacking satisfaction. But you don’t need us to tell you that; go on, give it a try and let the recipe speak for itself!

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 Kodiak Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal Packets
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pepitas
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Sliced banana, to serve (optional)
  • Yogurt, to serve (optional)


  1. Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add Kodiak Oatmeal Packets, sunflower seeds, pepitas, coconut, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Stir for 5 minutes or until the granola is golden brown. 
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the granola to cool completely before serving.
