And, as always, Kodiak waffles provide a hearty base, while the melted cheddar cheese adds a creamy, comforting layer that’s perfectly complemented by the smoky, salty crunch of crumbled bacon. It's a delicious way to start the day, and leaves everyone at the table satisfied and smiling.

  • 1 package Kodiak Buttermilk & Vanilla Power Waffles, thawed
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups whole milk 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped


  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F and grease a 9x13” baking pan.
  2. Cut each waffle into cubes. Place them in the greased baking pan, slightly overlapping, layered with the shredded cheese.
  3. Place the eggs, milk, and salt in a mixing bowl and whisk until well combined. Pour the mixture evenly over the waffles and cheese and let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  6. Cool slightly before serving. Top with chives.
