Ingredients
- 1 large apple
- 1-1/2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 packet Kodiak Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Packets
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, cold, cut into cubes
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. Coat a small oven safe dish with butter.
- Peel and thinly slice the apple.
- Place the apple slices in the prepared baking dish and add the sugar and cinnamon. Toss to coat and press apples down slightly.
- Place the contents of the oatmeal packet in a small mixing bowl along with the brown sugar. Stir to combine.
- Add the butter to the oatmeal mixture and cut in with a pastry blender or your fingertips until the butter is the size of small peas.
- Sprinkle the crumble over the top of the apples and bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until apples are soft and crumble is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
