This Grilled Waffle Mac ‘n Cheese Sandwich lunch recipe is packing some serious gains, folks. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Kodiak® Buttermilk Power Cakes® Flapjack & Waffle Mix, prepped according to package directions 
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter  
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese  
  • 1/2 cup prepared macaroni and cheese 

Directions

  1. Heat a waffle iron and grease. Cook the prepared waffle batter in the waffle iron to make two waffles. Remove from the waffle iron when golden brown and let cool. 
  2. Heat a skillet to medium and grease with the butter.  
  3. Sandwich the two waffles with the slice of cheddar cheese and the half cup of mac and cheese. Place on the heated skillet and cook for about one to two minutes on each side, flipping when golden brown. Remove when cheese is melted. 
  4. Slice the sandwich in half with a bread knife and serve.
