Born in the high-altitude city of Bogota, Colombia, Jennifer knew from an early age that the mountains were home. She discovered her love of running when she tried out cross country in the seventh grade, this was only the beginning. Her passion for the sport itself grew as she ran competitively through high school and college. After a brief hiatus from training, Jenn stumbled into mountain trail running while working as a hiking guide in Glacier National Park. She found herself driven to adventure deeper and longer into remote areas of the Northern Rocky Mountains. In the Fall of 2021, she lined up for her first ultra at The Rut 50km and smiled her way to a win. Since then, she has nurtured a budding trail running career with help from her main sponsor Nike ACG. Her career highlights now include course records and wins at Broken Arrow 46k,  Transgrancaneria 47k, Gorge Waterfalls 50k, Speedgoat 50k, Black Canyon 100k, and the Western States 100 miler. Jennifer currently resides in Missoula, MT where she spends her days adventuring in the surrounding mountains with her partner, Nick. Beyond her rigorous training schedule, she enjoys spending time with her beloved dogs, Uno and Vesper and cooking delicious meals to fuel her life.
