October 2024 Power Waffles Recall
TreeHouse Foods, Inc., a company that manufactures various frozen waffle brands, has issued a voluntary recall of numerous frozen waffle products, including specific batches of Kodiak frozen Power Waffles. This recall is being issued due to the potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.
The recall includes Kodiak Frozen Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk & Vanilla Waffles 10 count (UPC: 705599012211), Kodiak Cakes Chocolate Chip Waffles 8 count (UPC: 705599013201), and Kodiak Cakes Dark Chocolate Waffles 8 count (UPC: 705599012709). If your products are marked with a “Use By” Date and Lot Code included within this link, please dispose of your product. You can contact the retailer where you purchased the product to request a full refund.
The affected products were distributed within the United States and sold through retailers including Walmart, Target, Kroger, C&S Wholesale, HEB, UNFI, Safeway, Kehe, among others. You can view the full list of retailers here. No other products from Kodiak are impacted by this recall, including other Kodiak frozen waffles that do not include the “Use By” Dates and Lot Codes linked above. Kodiak Power Waffles purchased at Costco are not impacted by this recall.
