Some may say calling this layered recipe “Apple & Peanut Butter Nachos” is a bit of a stretch, but we disagree. While apple slices may not be a traditional substitute for tortilla chips, they do just as good of a job of supporting delicious layers of toppings. So sure, we took some creative liberties, but once you take a bite of this chocolate-apple-nut butter-coconut combo...we don’t think you’ll argue anymore.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup chopped chocolate or chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
- 3 assorted apples
- 2 tablespoons Kodiak Cakes Peanut Butter Syrup
- 2-3 tablespoons nuts, seeds, and/or granola
Directions
- Melt the chopped chocolate or chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave at 50% power for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Slice the apples and arrange them on a large plate.
- Drizzle the apples with Kodiak Cakes Peanut Butter Syrup and melted chocolate.
- Top with nuts, seeds, and/or granola.
