Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups Kodiak Classic Rolled Oats Canister
- 1/3 cup dried cherries
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup honey
- Dark chocolate chips
- 8 Kodiak Chocolate Chip Crunchy Bars (4 packages)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Place the oatmeal and dried cherries in a mixing bowl.
- Heat the butter, vanilla, and honey in a saucepan until the butter melts. Whisk together.
- Pour the honey mixture into the bowl of oats and stir until thoroughly combined.
- Spoon the oat mixture onto the lined baking pan. Grease your hands with oil and press the mixture into a rectangle shape, about 8 x 4“.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove the granola rectangle from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top. Place it back in the oven for 30 seconds.
- Remove from the oven and use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate chips evenly over the granola rectangle.
- Place the crunchy bars across the top of the rectangle in two rows of four. Let the rectangle cool completely, then use a sharp knife to cut slices around each individual crunchy bar.
- Store in an airtight container.
