Snickerdoodle Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Kodiak Snickerdoodle Protein Balls mix
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk 

 

Topping:

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 
  • 1 teaspoon butter, melted 

Directions

  1. Place the Kodiak mix, sugar, and baking powder in a mug. Stir together to combine.
  2. Add the melted butter, egg, and milk. Stir in to form a smooth batter.
  3. Let the batter sit for five minutes to allow the grains to absorb the liquids.
  4. Stir the batter again.
  5. Microwave the mug for 90 seconds.
  6. While the cake is cooking, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the cake from the microwave and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle the top with the cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.

*Mug cake can also be baked directly on the oven rack at 350° for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown on top and cooked through.
