You don’t even need the oven for this Holiday Cinnamon Roll Muffin. Simply whip up a smooth cream cheese frosting and drizzle it over the top of your cooked muffin cups. Before digging in, don’t forget to add a dash of holiday cheer with colorful sprinkles or crushed candy cane pieces. These simple muffins are an easy way to enjoy a festive breakfast without adding more time to your already packed holiday schedule.

Ingredients

Cinnamon Roll Muffin:

  • 1 Kodiak Cinnamon Roll Muffin Cup
  • 1/4 cup water

 

Cream Cheese Icing:

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup powered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoon milk

 

*Store leftover icing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours, or freeze for up to 2 months. Let it come to room temperature before using. 

Directions

  1. Use an electric mixer to cream the butter and cream cheese until smooth
  2. Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until fully combined and drizzles off a spoon
  3. Remove lid from the muffin cup and stir in water until combined
  4. Microwave for 1 minute
  5. Drizzle the cream cheese icing over the top of the cooked muffin cup and enjoy warm
