Ingredients

  • 1 package Kodiak French Toast Sticks, thawed (any flavor)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, divided

Directions

  1. Grease an 8x8” baking pan.
  2. Cut the French toast sticks into 1” square pieces. Place them in the greased baking pan, slightly overlapping.
  3. Place the eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1/3 cup of the brown sugar in a mixing bowl and whisk together until well combined. Pour evenly over the French toast cubes.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350° F. Remove the baking pan from the fridge to sit at room temperature until it is ready. Sprinkle the top of the casserole with the remaining 1/3 cup of brown sugar.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  7. Serve slices with maple syrup on top, if desired.
