Kick off the spooky season with a stack of Monster Flapjacks made using any flavor of our Kodiak® Power Cakes. This fun twist on our whole grain and protein-packed flapjack & waffle mix will have your whole bear den roaring with excitement. You can count on delicious taste, fluffy texture, and just the right amount of hearty whole grain to fuel all your Halloween adventures. Plus, just a little bit of food coloring and a whole lotta playful toppings make each stack a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. A little scary, a little silly, and always bursting with flavor—these flapjacks are the perfect way to celebrate the szn!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
- 1 cup water
- Orange, green, and purple food coloring
- Candy eye sprinkles
Directions
- Stir Kodiak mix and water together until combined.
- Separate the mix into 3 separate bowls.
- Stir a few drops of food coloring to each bowl until a vibrant color is reached.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a heated and greased griddle. Cook on medium-high heat or 375° F until bubbles form on top.
- Flip and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble a stack of flapjacks using each color and top with candy eye sprinkles.
- Serve with maple syrup.
