Everything But The Kitchen Sink Protein Balls

If you need a flavor-packed snack to take with you for an epic day, and you’ve also got a few stray ingredients in the pantry that need a home, try this "Everything But The Kitchen Sink" Protein Balls recipe. Start with your favorite Kodiak® Protein Ball Mix, then add in that last spoonful of nut butter or the stray sunflower seeds you have lying around. What about craisins or raisins? Or those dried apricots you forgot about? Whatever you find, add it in and enjoy this satisfying yet unexpected and unconventional little snack.


  • 1 box Kodiak Chocolate Chip Protein Ball Mix
  • 1/2 cup nut or seed butter (ex: peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower seed butter)
  • 1/3 cup liquid sweetener (ex: honey, maple syrup, agave, date syrup)
  • 1/4 cup water or other liquid (ex: applesauce, fruit juice, yogurt, mashed banana)
  • 1/2 crushed pretzels or granola
  • 1/2 cup combination of nuts, seed, dried fruit, coconut, or any similar dried goods on hand


  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and hand stir until fully combined. For additional moisture add up to 2 tablespoon water
  2. Divide mixture into 12 balls and coat in additional coconut flakes
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving
