Made with Kodiak® Classic Rolled Oats and Buttermilk Power Cakes mix, they pack a boost of protein and wholesome ingredients—no mystery fillers here. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, each bite delivers that satisfying texture you crave about mozzarella sticks. Serve them hot with marinara sauce, and watch the whole family gather around, grabbing for seconds (and thirds, and fourths). Perfect for game day, movie nights, after-school snacks, or any time the family’s craving something tasty and packed with a little extra oomf of the good stuff.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Kodiak Classic Rolled Oats Canister
- 3/4 cup Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix, divided
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 12 mozzarella sticks, cut in half and frozen solid (about 1 hour)
- Marinara sauce, to serve
Directions
- Place the protein oats and 1/4 cup of the Kodiak mix in a food processor. Process until oats are broken down into small pieces.
- Line up a workstation starting with a bowl of the remaining Kodiak mix, a bowl of the beaten eggs, and a bowl of the oat mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Working with 2-3 mozzarella sticks at a time, dredge the frozen cheese sticks in the power cakes mix.
- Next, dip the sticks in the the egg, shake off the excess and rolling in the oat mixture, quickly pressing around each stick. Place the breaded sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the process with the remaining cheese sticks.
- Place the breaded cheese sticks back in the freezer for 1 hour.
- When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 400° F. If desired, brush the mozzarella sticks with neutral oil for a more golden appearance.
- Bake mozzarella sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve with marinara sauce.
- Mozzarella sticks can also be air fried in an air fryer preheated to 400° F for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
