While our delicious Kodiak Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix is already a crowd favorite, we’ve added some festive spirit to this chocolaty treat that will light up the holiday potlucks, dinner parties, and late-night deliveries down the chimney. Bake a batch, or two, because with whole grains and protein added to the mix you can feel good about reaching for seconds!
Ingredients
Brownies:
- 1 box Kodiak Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
Icing:
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3-5 tablespoon milk or heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup crushed peppermint candies
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F and grease a 9x9" pan.
- Combine Kodiak Chocolate Fudge Brownie mix, eggs, butter, oil, water, and peppermint extract in a mixing bowl and hand stir until blended.
- Pour into the greased pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out slightly moist. Let cool.
- In a medium bowl, stir powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the glaze evenly over the brownies and sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.
