  • 1 Box Kodiak Cakes Cornbread Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon chives, minced


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Measure the Kodiak Cakes Cornbread mix into a large mixing bowl
  3. Cut the butter into cubes and work the into the mix by hand or using a pastry cutter
  4. Stir in milk, cheddar cheese, and chives until combined
  5. Scoop 1/4 cup rounds of dough onto a lined baking sheet and flatten slightly with the palm of your hand. Sprinkle with additional cheese
  6. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until golden
