Ingredients
Cinnamon Oat Stove Top Granola:
- 2 packets of Kodiak Cinnamon Oatmeal Packets
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2-3 tablespoon maple syrup
Strawberry Blueberry Filling:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
Directions
Cinnamon Oat Stovetop Granola:
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add two Kodiak Cinnamon Oatmeal Packets to the pan and add the maple syrup. Use a heatproof spatula or a wooden spoon to mix all ingredients in the pan to evenly coat.
- Continue cooking over medium heat until oats begin to crisp and smell toasty.
- Remove the granola pan from the heat and set aside while you prepare your filling. The granola will be soft at this point but will harden / crisp as it cools.
Mixed Berry Filling:
- Add berries to a pan over medium heat.
- Add lemon zest and allow berries to cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, until their juices release and start to thicken. Stir the berries occasionally to keep from burning on the bottom.
- Once berries are cooked, remove from heat and sprinkle with prepared granola. Enjoy!
