Ingredients
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 Kodiak Gluten-Free Frontier Oat Power Waffles, toasted
Directions
- Place the onion and olive oil in a skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- While the onion is cooking, place the turkey, egg, rosemary, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix together until well combined.
- Form the turkey mixture into four patties.
- Add olive oil to a skillet and cook the patties until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
- Place each patty in between two toasted waffles along with a spoonful of the caramelized onion.
- Add any other desired toppings, such as cheese, avocado, lettuce, etc.
