These Christmas Crepes make an internationally inspired breakfast with a bit of festive flair. Extra eggs, butter, and milk transform Kodiak Cakes Whole Wheat Oat, & Honey Flapjack and Waffle Mix into the perfect batter for these French delights. Add green and red food coloring and be sure to use a non-stick crepe or frying pan to ensure these sweet little bundles slide right onto the plate.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Whole Wheat, Oat, & Honey Kodiak Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
- 1 cup milk or water
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- Red and green food coloring
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk the Kodiak Cakes Whole Wheat, Oat and Honey Flapjack and Waffle mix, milk or water, eggs, melted butter, and sugar until smooth
- Lightly grease a non-stick crepe pan or saute pan with oil and place over medium heat
- Pour 1/4 cup batter in the center of the pan and swirl until thin and even. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side
- Fill with your choice of whipped cream, fruits, nuts, hazelnut spread, and/or chocolate
