5 HALLOWEEN PARTY RECIPES

It’s official, fall is here which also means Halloween is right around the corner. As you start thinking about when to host this year’s costume party, don’t forget to start brainstorming a list of spooky Halloween party food to serve your guests. Luckily, the bears at Kodiak Cakes started planning weeks ago and have their five favorite Halloween party recipes ready to share with you!

WHITE CHOCOLATE CANDY CORN COOKIES

Total time: 51 mins | Makes: 24 cookies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Use an electric mixer to cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add egg and vanilla and continue to mix until fully combined.
  3. Mix in Kodiak Cakes mix until a dough forms.
  4. Stir in candy corn and white chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop cookies onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, making sure cookie dough covers any exposed pieces of candy corn on the bottom of the cookie. *Any candy corn directly touching the baking sheet will melt during baking.
  6. Refrigerate the scooped cookies for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 10 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Bake the chilled cookies for 9-11 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.

BAKED HALLOWEEN DOUGHNUTS

Total time: 27 mins | Makes: 12 donuts

Ingredients:

Glaze:

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Halloween sprinkles for topping

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a doughnut pan with oil or butter.
  2. In a large bowl. Combine Kodiak Cakes mix, sugar, butter, eggs, and milk.
  3. Spoon or pipe batter into the greased doughnut pan.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick into the center of a doughnut comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Dip or drizzle over the top of the cooled doughnuts. Top with Halloween sprinkles.

HALLOWEEN COCKTAIL

Total time: 5 mins | Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 3-5 fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons Kodiak Cakes Raspberry Fruit Syrup
  • 1 fresh lime, juiced
  • 1-1/2 oz. vodka (or extra cranberry juice for a mocktail)
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice
  • Ice cubes for serving

Directions:

  1. In a shaker, mash the raspberries and Kodiak Cakes syrup together.
  2. Stir in lime juice, vodka (optional), and cranberry juice.
  3. Add ice and shake well.
  4. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with raspberries.

HALLOWEEN BEAR CHOW

Total time: 10 mins | Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cups Kodiak Cakes Bear Bites (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles and/or candies
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Melt the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter together in a microwavable glass bowl.
  2. Stir in Bear Bites until combined.
  3. Toss in sprinkles and powdered sugar.
  4. Spread evenly across a sheet pan and let cool completely.

MUMMY GRANOLA BARS

Total time: 20 mins | Makes: 12 servings

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Remove crunchy granola bars from packaging and lay flat on parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together until smooth.
  3. Place the glaze in a piping bag or a plastic bag with the tip cut off.
  4. Drizzle the glaze across the bars. Place candy eyeballs or mini chocolate chips over the glaze, toward the top of the bar.
  5. Let sit for 15-20 minutes or until the icing firms up; serve.
