Nut butter led the pack, offering several health benefits as well as a variety of flavors. But, all by itself, a nut butter doesn’t boast the sweetness of maple syrup, tends to be a little dry, and can seem nearly impossible to spread. Plus, some nut butters are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup which is a deal breaker for us at the Bear Den. And that’s when our Kodiak Kitchen staff really put on their flannel thinking caps and came up with a solution for both products problems…
