Ingredients
Waffles:- 2 cups Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle mix
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoon meringue powder
- 6-10 tablespoon water
- Variety of Christmas candies
Directions
- In a large bowl, stir the Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk Powercakes Flapjack and Waffle mix, water, and oil together until the batter is combined
- Pour 1/2 cup of the batter into a greased and heated square waffle iron
- Cook until the waffles are crispy on the outside
- Cut the waffles into 4 squares and set aside in a single layer (do not stack the waffles)
- Use an electric mixer with a whisk attachment to mix the powdered sugar, meringue powder, and 6 tbsp. of water together until smooth. The icing should be thick enough to pipe. Add more water 1 tbsp. at a time if needed to reach the correct consistency. Cover the icing with plastic wrap when not using to keep it from drying
- Place the icing in a piping bag and use it to carefully glue the house together
- Decorate with various Christmas candies
